Program participation notes:
- Checked for healthcare coverage
- No employee sponsored, Medicare or Medicaid
- Accept Reimbursement
- Agree to not balance bill
- Accept Terms and Conditions
Claims must be submitted electronically and subject to the same timely filing requirements required by Medicare.
Program Participation
- TIN Validation- 1 to 2 days
- Optum Pay Direct Deposit 7 to 10 days
- Provider Roster 1 to 3 Days (Currently not available)
Patient Information – May 6- submit patients one at a time or through batch upload
- Uninsured Individual Information
- Complete Patient Attestation
- Temporary Member ID (valid for 30 days) – 1 to 3 business days

Claim Submission- Beginning May 6th
Submit claims electronically for payment for professional and facility services (ANSI X12 837). All claims must be submitted electronically using an 837 EDI transaction set. Claims must be submitted outside the HRDA COVID-19 Uninsured Portal

Just a reminder if you have not seen this. On Monday, April 27, the online portal was launched where hospitals can apply for reimbursement for the testing and treatment of COVID-19 for uninsured patients. The dates of service beginning on or after February 4, 2020

Are billing companies able to provide support or represent providers through the revenue cycle process?
Yes, but may be limited to the amount of billing TINS that they can submit at one time. They will need to attest the same information as healthcare providers.
